When you support Canopy’s initiatives in refugee resettlement, you have the opportunity to make a direct and lasting difference in the lives of our newest neighbors. By contributing to the funds below, you are giving the gift of hope and welcome!
The Impact Fund is an open fund established to cover unforeseen and emergency expenses that may arise during the resettlement process.
Canopy employs the term “Circle of Welcome” to refer to volunteer groups that offer financial assistance, home furnishings, airport greetings, and community guidance to recently arrived refugee families.
In the fiscal year 2024, Canopy aims to initiate a cosponsorship program specifically tailored for the City of Siloam Springs, aiming to welcome 50 refugees. Contributions to this fund will aid in realizing this initiative.
Donations to this fund are crucial for ensuring that Canopy clients, who may not have the financial means to secure legal representation, can access the assistance they need to navigate the complex immigration system.
Upon the arrival of many refugee families in Arkansas, they often arrive with minimal possessions. You, your family, and your acquaintances have the ability to create a meaningful difference as these families embark on the process of reconstructing their lives in NWA by assembling a Welcome Kit. These kits play a crucial role in fulfilling Canopy’s mission to guarantee that refugees are provided with everything necessary to initiate their new lives. Contributions to this fund are utilized to acquire items for the Welcome Kits.
Ways to Give
We accept many types of gifts that are consistent with the mission, core values, and priorities of Canopy Northwest Arkansas. These include current gifts, such as Cash or Stock Transfers, and Deferred Gifts, such as Will Bequests. Please note, some donations require approval from our Gift Acceptance Committee.
